Included in this kit is a 2 x 2 aluminum surface-mount post, a 2-piece polymer post skirt, and a crossover bracket. The 2 x 2 post cannot be used to start end a run or to form a corner. Instead, use 3 x 3 end & corner posts for continuous top rail systems.
